Local nursing center South County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has received national recognition for its commitment to quality care. The center will be honored with a Bronze Commitment to Quality Award at an October conference.
The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living offers the Bronze Award each year to skilled nursing centers that demonstrate a long-term commitment to quality, self-assessment and progress. South County is one of six centers in the Revera Health Systems network to receive the honor.
"Quality care for residents has made South County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center an essential part of the North Kingston community for many years," said Jennifer Fairbank, Administrator. "With this award, the staff at the center is now receiving they national attention they deserve. We are very proud of the hard work and dedication that went into this achievement."
Having received the Bronze Award, South County Nursing and Rehabilitation can now meet even higher benchmarks to become eligible for the Silver and Gold awards also given annually by ACHA/NCAL.
